Alaska offers few of this kind, but it is here where it seems time has had no effect on the people. They still live in their rugged homes, still travel swiftly over the ice with the help of their sled dogs, and still hunt for furs. The humans are not a safe place to wonder for the wolf kind, but desperate and hungry, many have lost their lives by wondering too close to the dogs, or the humans. Its a place that no one is meant to be around.
